Help - Verify Mail Settings Step 1

On the first step, you are given information about the detected settings:


Verify that the Email address that will be used is correct.

NOTE #1: If this is not an E-mail address for the sole use of RemoteBot, you should make sure to configure your email reader program so that it does not remove messages from the server.

Outlook users can change the setting to ""leave a copy of messages on server"" under Tools->Accounts->[Select Account]->Advanced tab->Delivery section.

NOTE #2: you plan on using/sharing one email address for RemoteBot, you should configure RemoteBot to check for new tasks every 2 minutes or longer if you have a modem connection of 56K or slower. This will eliminate any potential conflicts when trying to delete messages from the POP3 server. (In order to delete a message on a POP3 server, only one program can be logged in at a time. Otherwise, the messages will not be deleted. )
