SmtpServer.TimeoutGeneral Property

Specifies the General timeout in milliseconds.

Property Value

An integer value between 1 and 9999999 that represents the number of milliseconds that a general command sent to the mail server should pass before timing out.

Remarks

The default value is 60000 (1 minutes). This timeout is used to set the amount of time before an operation times out when sending the actual message data including attachments which require more time before timing out. If the operation times out before the entire message is sent, try increasing this value.
