Follow these steps to move an existing WebWatchBot v5.0 installation from one computer to another. These instructions are for installations of WebWatchBot using an existing instance of SQL Server to store WebWatchBot's data.   The "source" machine refers to the existing installation and the "target" refers to the machine WebWatchBot will be moved to.

1. On the target machine:
   1. Install WebWatchBot. (Instructions)
      
      NOTE: During the installation, you will be prompted to specify the SQL Server to store WebWatchBot's data on. Enter the name of the server where the existing WebWatchBot database is located.
      If SQL Server is installed on the source machine and you will install it on the target machine:
      1. Install SQL Server
      2. Transfer the WebWatchBot database from the source machine to the target machine. Consult your SQL Server documentation on transfer procedures.
   2. Locate the data folder: In WebWatchBot Manager, select from the menu: Help -> ExclamationSoft Support -> View Data Folder.  A window should open at the location of the data files.  Keep this window open.
   3. Stop the WebWatchBot service: Tools -> Stop Service.
   4. Close WebWatchBot Manager.
2. On the source machine, locate the data folder:
   1. In WebWatchBot Manager, select from the menu: Help -> ExclamationSoft Support -> View Data Folder.  A window should open at the location of the data files. 
   2. Copy all files and sub-folders from the source machine to the data folder on the target machine.  In most cases, the data folder on the target machine will be in the same location, e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ExclamationSoft\WebWatchBot 4.
   3. Verify the date and time of the file of the files and folders on the target machine to ensure a successful copy.
3. On the source machine:
   1. Write down or save the license key in a safe place to be activated on the target machine in the next step.
   2. De-activate the license key. (Instructions)
   3. WebWatchBot should continue to operate on the source machine, running as the trial version.
4. On the target machine:
   1. Activate the license key.
   2. Verify your Watch Items, transactions, and especially email settings.
