Clicking on a filter, group or transaction will automatically update the Watch List.  To view a different filter or to view groups, click on the filter or group button, shown below:


Filters: Status

Available Watch Item Status are:

  • All - All Watch items, no filtering
  • Active - Only active watch items, watch items that are not suspended
  • Suspended - Only suspended watch items, watch items that are not active
  • Down - Only watch items that have an alarm status of Down
  • Up - Only watch items that have an alarm status of Up


Filters: Types

Application

  • HTTP - Only watch items that are of type HTTP
  • HTTPS - Only watch items that are of type HTTPs
  • Database - Only watch items that are of type Database
  • Transactions - Only watch items that are of type Transactions

System

  • SMTP - Only watch items that are of type SMTP
  • POP3 - Only watch items that are of type POP3
  • FTP - Only watch items that are of type FTP
  • DNS - Only watch items that are of type DNS
  • File - Only watch items that are of type File
  • Disk Usage -Only watch items that are of type Disk Usage
  • Performance Counters - Only watch items that are of type Performance Counters
  • Process (Windows) - Only watch items that are of type Process
  • Service (Windows) - Only watch items that are of type Service
  • Event Log - Only watch items that are of type Event Log
  • Custom - Only watch items that are of type Custom

Network

  • Ping - Only watch items that are of type Ping
  • Port - Only watch items that are of type Port
  • Trace Route - Only watch items that are of type Trace Route
  • SNMP - Only watch items that are of type SNMP


Groups are defined by the user and are created through the menus.  Right-click on a group to delete or view properties for the selected group
