Summary

Grouping data by "Daily by Hour" will group all data that share the same hour of day from 0:00 to 23:00 (12 AM to 11 PM) for each day.  For example, if 10 data points are collected between 1 AM and 2 AM on January 1, 2004, and 20 data points are collected between 1 AM and 2 AM on January 2, 2004,  the first set of 10 data point response times will be grouped (averaged) in a separate column from the second set of 20 data point response times.

Why Choose This Data Option Setting?

To chart and analyze historical data for a watch item based on the time of day.  Peaks in the charted data may indicate, during specific times of day, heavy traffic affects response time.
