Summary

Grouping data by "Daily by Hour", showing trend, will group all data that share the same hour of day from 0:00 to 23:00 (12 AM to 11 PM).  Data points collected for any day during the same hour of day will be grouped (averaged).

Why Choose This Data Option Setting?

To chart and analyze trends in historical data for a watch item based on the time of day.  Peaks in the charted data may indicate, during specific times of day, heavy traffic affects overall response time. 

The longer data is collected, the more apparent the trend will become.  The data may not be significant if data points do not span all hours of the day and less than one month of data.
