Description
The "SLA Status Tab" shows the settings of which an alarm will either be triggered or reset.

An SLA Status Warning or Down condition is triggered when a watch item fails.  See Failure Descriptions for more on why watch items fail.

Recommendation

SLA Status is primarily used for monitoring Service Level Agreements with ISPs, hosting companies or other parties.  It is useful for being informed when a level of downtime has been reached.  In most monitoring situations, it is recommended that SLA status not be used. 

Fields And Buttons

Warning Level

• Set the Warning Level to either a percentage of failure or an absolute number of failures by clicking on the radio button next to the symbols for percentage or number.
• By default, the warning level is set to 1%
• There is no option to turn Status on or off, since it neither triggers or resets an alert.

Down Level

• Set the Down Level to either a percentage of failure or an absolute number of failures by clicking on the radio button next to the symbols for percentage or number.
• By default, the Down level is set to 1%
• There is no option to turn Status on or off, since it neither triggers or resets an alert.

Current Status

• Changing the indicator values above will change the status of this item.

Action - Opens the "Set Alarm Actions" dialog box.  There are four types of actions that can be performed:

Send an email

Show a visual alert window

Execute a command (.exe) or load a URL

Play a wave file sound
