Summary

(Enterprise and Trial versions only) The Status pane and view provide the display and configuration of Status Reports.

The Status view displays the currently selected report.

General

A single "Master Status Report" is automatically generated and configurable.

Each Watch Group has a configurable Status Report to display the Watch Item's assigned to that group.

Template

The Status Report is generated from a template file "status.html" and CSS (cascading style sheet) "status.css" located in the sub-folder "resource/status" under the WebWatchBot installation folder.

The template file contains a number of special replacement tokens provided for subject customization. WebWatchBot will automatically replace the tokens with the appropriate value when the email alert is created. Tokens include:

<%MetaRefresh%> - Meta tag for auto refreshing the page in a browser window.
<%IndicatorColor%> - Hexidecimal color representing indicator color.
<%Summary%> - Report Heading
<%MachineName%> - The name of the machine generating the report.
<%SummaryStats%> - Summary count of the number of Watch Items are Up and Down.
<%LastUpdate%> - The date and time the report was last updated.
<%Description%> - Additional descriptive text below the heading.
